Oyenike Balogun-Mwangi, PhD
Staff Psychologist
Dr. Balogun-Mwangi specializes in trauma work and couples or relationship therapy with clients eager to build more effective and satisfying patterns in their relationships with themselves and each other.
She supports clients who are hungry for genuine, deep, and meaningful relationships, as they navigate current relational dissatisfaction and conflict. She also supports individuals working through painful past experiences, which are often the foundation for how they engage with their relationships and the world around them. She helps her clients move toward their vision of a fuller life while practicing self-acceptance and a non-judgmental stance.
Dr. Balogun-Mwangi uses an integrative therapy approach that pulls from person-centered therapy, psychodynamic approaches, trauma informed principles, and cognitive behavioral therapy. She nurtures a calm space where clients can listen to their bodies, their thoughts, their spirit, their ideas-- a space sorely needed in a world that is often frenetic and loud.
In her free time, Dr. Balogun-Mwangi enjoys HIIT workouts, long hikes, and delicious food and drink.
Dr. Balogun-Mwangi is an out-of-network provider with all insurance plans.
